1973 Corvette 454
Black exterior, Black leather interior. 454ci engine, 4 speed manual transmission, posi rear-end. This stunning, fast, and stealthy Black '73 is in very nice condition, and has had thousands spent in performance and restoration parts. The paint on this car is relatively nice, looking to be a few years old, but showing no apparent scratches or scuffs, and minimal orange peel. Assembled on July 18, 1973, this car has been fitted with the highly desirable 1972 Corvette front clip, complete with the chrome bumper that everyone loves, and a big block/LT1 hood. This car retains its stock headlight appearance during the day, and at night the headlight doors drop down at the rear to reveal a custom six headlight system. Trim tag shows paint code 952, and trim code 422. Chrome bumpers appear to be older, but are still in above average condition with no rust or other major issues. Chrome exterior door handles appear to be newer, and are in very nice condition. Taillights look to be brand new and are in excellent condition with new LED bulbs. Weatherstripping is very nice as well, looking to have been replaced recently. A set of 17 inch polished Enkei wheels have been installed, and would look brand new if someone were to spend a couple of hours hand polishing them. Mounted to these wheels are a set of 275/40/17 BF Goodrich Comp T/A tires, which are in very nice condition with no dry-rot and approximately 70% treadlife remaining. A set of brand new leather seat covers have been installed on this 1973 Corvette, and brand new correct cut-pile carpet has been installed as well. Door panels, dash pad, and center console appear to be in very good condition, and are free from cracks. A premium Italian Momo steering wheel has also been added to this 1973 Corvette, as well as a Custom Auto Sound cassette stereo in the original location with no dash cuts. The casting number on this 1973 Corvette's engine reads 14015445, and shows a casting date code of G228. The previous owner claims that the engine produces over 390hp, and has been bored .040 over with a mild cam. We would definitely believe it too -- this car runs and drives extremely well and is RIDICULOUSLY fast! A GM intake and Quadrajet carburetor are installed on this car. Upgrades under the hood consist of a set of Hooker Super Comp stainless steel longtube headers with sidepipes, chrome valve covers, chrome alternator, chrome master cylinder, K&N air cleaner, MSD distributor, MSD ignition wires, and an MSD Blaster 2 ignition coil. Also having been recently replaced are the radiator, A/C compressor and drier, brake calipers, timing chain (double roller), ball joints, fuel pump, clutch, flywheel, gas tank, shocks (adjustable), idler arms, control arms, springs, and fan clutch. This would be the perfect Vette for someone with a need for speed that is not concerned with getting top marks from NCRS, but still wants to have something they can be proud of and take to shows and turn heads everywhere they go! Not to mention she's got some serious cubic inches under the hood! Factory features include tilt, air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, power windows, deluxe interior, 4 speed manual transmission, AM/FM radio.
