The interior of this 1963 Corvette Convertible shows new loop carpet, seat covers, seatbelts, and door panels, all in very good to excellent condition. Gauges are in overall good condition. The clock is working at the time of this writeup, and is in very good to excellent condition with no fading and a clear lens. Center console is in good condition. The engine in this 1963 Corvette Convertible shows casting number 3858180, casting date January 14, 1966, and final assembly date January 18, 1966. With this information and the "EA" suffix on the stamp pad, we believe this engine to have been originally installed in a 1966 model year non-Corvette Chevrolet application, with approximately 250hp. Intake manifold shows a casting number that would be correct for a 1964-65 327/300hp Corvette, and the exhaust manifolds show correct casting numbers for a 1963 Corvette. Fuel is delivered by a Carter AFB carburetor, and a set of high-polished 350hp finned aluminum style valve covers have been added. This 1963 Corvette Convertible comes with records and invoices dating back to 1993. Many parts were replaced on this car in the 1990s, including the dash harness, engine harness, forward harness, headlight harness, alternator harness, dimmer switch, turn signal switch, headlight switch, voltage regulator, horn relay, battery gables, brake master cylinder, brake lines and hoses, hood release cable, headlight motors, radiator, and mufflers. The carburetor and suspension were rebuilt as well at this time. Frame is solid and rust-free.
