Originally assembled on March 16, 1966, this 1966 Corvette is in very nice condition, and is sure to turn heads. This car is believed to have a no-hit body, with factory side exhaust. Appearing to be very close to 1990-96 Polo Green but with slightly more of a gold tint, this car's paint is in very nice condition, with a deep shine. Original paint code is 988. 1967 style big block hood and fenders have been added, giving this car some great eye and ear appeal along with the side exhaust. A very subtle gold fade pattern has also been painted into the fender vents. Front chrome bumpers look to be in overall good original condition, with plenty of patina, and a ding on the passenger's side. Rear bumpers show slightly less patina, and are in fair condition, as are the taillights. Weatherstripping looks to be very recent, and is in very good to excellent condition. All exterior glass with the exception of the windshield shows a correct date code. Exterior door handles are in very good to excellent condition, looking to be recent reproductions. This 1966 Corvette wears factory hubcaps, which are in good original condition with typical center cap fading and a few dings. Tires are radial whitewalls, showing an average of 7/32nds tread depth remaining. The interior of this car shows very good to excellent recent seat covers and door panels, and very good condition dash pads, glovebox lid, and correct loop style carpet. Center console is in very good condition, but has been painted black; gauges are in good condition with minor fading and good lenses. Steering wheel is cracked through in several locations and is in poor condition. Correct style AM/FM radio is still in place. The numbers matching engine in this 1966 Corvette shows casting date February 22, 1966, and final assembly date March 3, 1966. Correct exhaust manifolds and hoses are in place, and a Vintage Edelbrock C3B intake manifold has been added, in addition to an Edelbrock carburetor, Hurst shifter, MSD ignition, aluminum radiator, and Proform style chrome air cleaner and valve covers. Recent work to this car includes rebuilt suspension and headlight motors; engine and transmission were also rebuilt less than 2,000 miles ago, along with the gauges. U-joints were replaced as well.
