RARE!!" There were only 815 Tuxedo Black Corvettes manufactured in 1967 and it is unknown how many had the Red Stinger Stripe. WHILE DOCUMENTATION IS SCANT, IT IS KNOWN THAT LEATHER IS EXTREMELY RARE!The original BUILD SHEET documents the car as a RARE 427/435 hp Big Block and it is matching #'s! She is equipped with three rebuilt 2 barrel carburetors (the ORIGINALS are available and in storage) The NON-ORIGINAL 4 speed manual transmission (retrieved from a '72) coupled to this engine along with the recent front end rebuild ensures that this car tracks straight and true with no vibrations or rattles. The NON-ORIGINAL rear end (retrieved from a '68) and the seven leaf rear spring can be easily replaced in order to complete this car. However, when compared to the recent sale of a similarly equipped convertible at $467,000, this represents an enormous value for such a rare car. This mid-February 1967 build date car is very correct and original. The addition of the sidepipe exhaust system gives this car a classic big block rumble! The paint on this car is absolutely outstanding! Heavily detailed engine compartment and chassis. Everything works on this car except the clock, but it was recently working and it has the factory inner mechanism. Chrome is nearly perfect, and all body lines are straight and line up nicely. AT NO COST, there is an Easy to install or removable modern stereo system which includes MTX subwoofers, rear 6x9 speakers as well as kick panel speakers, custom glovebox mounted Pioneer CD/MP3 head unit, and inline Tsunami fuse kit.
